Lack of hospitality and services of the hotel

The front desk staff was so friendly and greeting with smile to a family before us and we checked in after them and as soon as the staff saw us as Asian and his face expression changed and he didn’t even greet us not even hello and as we are Asian not matter what we start greeting to him first but he didn’t even reply and he just started with what can I help you. And he asked our information and we checked in and he handed us the room number and keys but didn’t even provide any information such as which way to go and what floor is our room was. As we are so tired and being treated not well and we just took the keys and took off and forgot to asked what floor our room was . The room was not two bed but we didn’t have a good stay due to to noisy of the door opened and closed as slamming door from others rooms .we , me and my wife have been up and couldn’t sleep well a whole night. To be honest I’ve travel a lot and never been treated this way by the front desk staff of the hotel and never seen this lack of hospitality and services from the hotel. Me and my wife decided It was gonna be a one time stay in this hotel.

Upon arrival to the end of our stay the front desk clerk was very accommodating from guiding me how to use the key card for the parking garage to a retailer close by to purchase a graduation card! The breakfast was very good with a big variety to pick from! Our room was very clean and comfy!

Excellent Historical Church Turned Hotel

It was a surprise to learn the hotel is an old church that has a ton of history. It is absolutely beautiful. The canal walk is right next to the hotel and hop on an electric scooter than your just a few minutes from shops and restaurants. Bed was very firm but room was clean and nice. Only complaint I have is hotels.com states they have limited public parking but don’t tell you it’s $45 a night to park there. It’s a very small garage and it’s filled up you have to pay extra for valet.

Bad choice

This hotel is in walking distance to the other: Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown! Really? They could not come up with a different name that would make the booking by mistake less likely? I booked it by mistake but just needed a place to sleep. This should have worked just fine. However, the rooms are not insolated well and every step, every word and every door closed can be heard. It's like trying to sleep in a busy airport. Will definitely not stay there again.
