My go to place

I always stay at this hotel when visiting family on Long Island. Its a convenient location to the LIE. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Plus they have a good free breakfast.

Everything was very nice. The only thing that bothered me was when I made my reservations in the description online said they welcomed pets. What they didn’t mention was they couldn’t be left in the room alone. My wife and I had to leave for a few hours each day to meet with some people. It was difficult finding a place for keeping my dog, which is well behaved, to stay while we were out. If I had known this I may have chosen another hotel that does allow them to stay alone. At least for a few hours. But other than that our stay was very pleasant. Thank you. Your staff was very pleasant.

When I checked in with my pet I was charged a $75 incidental charge, this was not indicated when I booked the reservation, all that was indicated was that I was allowed to travel with my dog as long as he was under 80 pounds. The front desk attendant informed me that this was always the case. I paid, even though I felt wronged, I had no other choice
