The staff was very good. Breakfast was pretty good and the view of the Sea was a big plus. They have very low prices, so it was an excellent value. The room was pretty big and everything worked. The downside was the mattress and pillows were hard and not comfortable in my room, and I have low standards. Also the shower grout needs attention - cleaning or replacement.
Hotel had no kettle to make hot drink, no heating i was freezing most nights when is cold... also no microwave to preheat my food.. far for shopper's and overly priced.
The hotel is considered near the metro station which makes it easy to go to airport, also near the fast sea transportation station, but the exact location of the hotel is on a small branch street about 250 feet from the Main Street, at night you don't feel safe to walk in such streets.
Car parking is not availble so it is difficult to rent a car, restaurant are available only on the Main Street.
Room size is small which makes movement very limited, breakfast room size is also limited and become crowded, breakfast items are limited.
Creepy man serving the omelettes - we didn't appreciate getting stared at and chatted up.
Completely solid beds youch! And massive pillows which hurt our necks.
Music came through from outside early in the morning which was bad.
Quando tornerò a Istanbul, sicuramente tornerò all'Abel Hotel.
