The property is in a convenient location however there are a lot of renovation works happening directly opposite. We were placed in the Annexe which was two streets away. The TV did not work (not that we wanted to watch Tv but would’ve liked to of listened to music whilst in the room) neither did the air conditioning something we did not ask to be checked as the weather was mild. It wouldn’t have been fixed during our short stay anyway.
We took a yellow taxi back to the airport at a competitive rate of 1500TL which the hotel kindly arranged.
Karakoy is a nice area for restaurants and great for coffee/tea breaks and within a 10 min walk to Gelata Bridge so a good location.
Staff were friendly and helpful even if communication was difficult at times due to language barriers (on both sides)
I wouldn’t say the breakfast was fantastic. It was edible and varied but lacked pastry options for those who do not want to eat babaganush in the morning. Very small restaurant and overlooks the current renovation. Project, you do not have a view of Gelata tower as advertised.
Would I recommend? Yes but there are more competitive hotels available in less built up areas which I will try next time
