So-so stay

The hotel has been updated, but no attention was paid to detail. Paint splattered on outlets and the floor. The carpet felt damp all the time. There was so much humidity in the room, despite the A/C working well. The entry door had missing/chipped paint. The little rugs in front of each entry door are in sad condition. The beds were a little on the hard side, but not the worst I have ever slept on.

The overall property is satisfactory the AC unit was very dirty a lot of dust and grime down in the vent that you could see and if you bumped it, it would blow out. We made the reservation for three guests, my husband, myself and my daughter when we got there we had two towels in one washcloth the first night I sent a message through the app that it said to send it through and they said they never get those messages so when we got back late that night we still didn’t have any washcloths or towels Overall the place is fine

No elevator

The rooms aren't awful, but there are no elevators and I've stayed here 3 times. Although I don't consider myself handicapped, I do have horrible knees and climbing stairs is difficult. I have NEVER been able to get a first floor room. I won't make the mistake of staying here again.

The staff was great and very kind. Our room was very clean and nice even though it did not have a closet and the sofa bed was a futon. The area around the hotel was typical of being right off the interstate in that it looked kind of run down from the outside and backed up to apartment buildings.

It was helpful to have the pull out couch available. The breakfast was good although the space to have breakfast is small. The woman that worked the evening shut (I cannot recall her name) was incredibly sweet and helpful.
