Because I didn't stay there. I made an honest mistake and notified them that I had the dates wrong and was wanting them just to change my reservation date and not charged me for both reservations but they would not do that.
I understand policy but I also understand people make mistakes and it would be different if I wasn't booking a different stay. But now I have to pay for two hotel stays instead of one and instead of a huge corporation being compassionate
