Room description was misleading and deceiving. Broken balcony and bathroom locks. Was given wood log( yes , wood log) to secure balcony door. And most of it, its not private entrance to the beach, . Its a privaty entrance to marina! Dishonest

Angela at the pool bar was fantastic and so welcoming! When we first went in our room it appeared very clean but we then realized the floor was sandy everywhere. Also, when I wiped up a little spilled water, the cloth was filthy. The shuttle service would only take 15 people and leave the rest to wait another hour before the next shuttle came. You did not receive clean towels unless you paid $5.00 extra. No daily cleaning of your room. The hotel staff did not give information on checkin regarding shuttle service timing, hotel policies, and basic layout of the area. We learned more from the shuttle drivers. We also were not made aware the this was not a Marriott property anymore as it was when we booked.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon after coming off a 10 day Carribean cruise. Our Room was NOT what we had requested or paid for, we received the B suite and booked the A, it was to be an Ocean view balcony. Instead it was an interior room looking only at walkway of people parading in front of our room. Management then placed a wedding party in the adjacent Ocean view/balcony we had reserved. They propped open the foyer door and had doors slamming starting at 7am thru 12pm. Spoke with management and was told they were full basically tough WE ALREADY HAVE YOUR MONEY! Will not stay here again. Only good thing was 2 maintenance men who helped with our bags upon arrival.

The resort is very nice, it will need some upgrades in the fairly near future. There are things such as the elevator and hallways that are showing their age, but overall it is a very nice place. My one big issue is actually with in house restaurant, it is very expensive for the quality of food and service. They have a limited menu and we were treated rudely by the hostess staff. They have a happy hour, but they only recognize the happy hour in certain parts of the restaurant, and of course the night we went in for the happy hour there were no seats in that area, it was a very disappointing experience.

Our room had a broken towel rack above the toilet, a broken tile on our bedroom floor and a squeaky door into the bathroom. The elevator was broken the entire week we were there and we had to haul our luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs. Broken/cracked tile on the stairs Staff was very friendly and helpful. John the shuttle driver was fabulous, as was the gentleman from Ukraine. However, when the streets became flooded, we had no way of knowing that the shuttle stopped. A text message would've been nice.
