The only positive about this hotel is the location. It’s positioned in the perfect spot is you want easy access to shopping mall and MTR station. The hotel itself is very dated. Our room had a strong smell of stale cigarettes which was not ideal for our 10 year old. The carpet had stains and the bathroom desperately needs an update. The staff were rude and unwelcoming and did not make us feel welcome at all. Every staff member we encountered was like this apart from the room cleaners who were pleasant enough to say hello and have a great day. I don’t even want to mention how bad breakfast was. The last time we stayed at this hotel it had one of the best buffet breakfasts. This time no buffet breakfast. And to end the TV in the room was from the 1990’s so if you want a nice luxury stay don’t stay here

Stayed there for 7 nights and was given a room on 17/F which is the highest floor for standard rooms except the club and executive floors above. Room was clean and housekeeping did a great job every day. The aircon in the room was quiet and the bed was relatively comfortable. However, the air in the room was very dry and the washroom did not include body lotion / cream as part of the amenities provided. I was a little bit disappointed as well that there wasn’t a small Nespresso machine or other simple capsule coffee machine available in the room — that’s a standard for most hotels these days. Overall, the hotel’s location is unbeatable, service was good, room was big and clean, and I would stay in Royal Plaza again if the opportunity arises.

We found some black stuff on bed sheet, not sure if they were bugs. The front desk sent people right away to change all sheets, pillow cases and blanket. Staff were polite and friendly. The room has no heat. The brought us a space heater.

Stayed for 5 nights. Our 1st time . Deluxe room was spacious and spotless. Unbeatable location . Next to MTR and busy upscale mall - MOKO. Close to local diners . Will definitely come back this hotel. Walkable to Ladies and Flower markets. Only concern was we were not able to sign up for the loyalty program because we were from Canada .

Location is great as it is connected to the Mongkok East MTR station via underground shopping mall, hence very convenient to get to. Lots of food around the area. Room is spacious and clean.

The location is super convenient. The hotel is directly connected to MOKO Mall and Mong Kok East MTR is right inside, so getting around was a breeze. Room was clean and comfy and the staff were friendly. Only thing we didn’t love was the lighting in the room. It was a bit dark. Other than that, it was a great stay!

I have a well welcome from bell boy Kenny, while I’m doing the check in , he offer my old uncle a card to gent if he needed, he will also reminder my elderly to bring more cloths cox the weather is cold. He indeed a very helpful and caring staff . And Joyce and miko helping us with smooth check in , they reminded the housekeeping to keep and eyes on us cox we got elderly check in. I’m very thankful to 3 of them especially, let us a pleasant and warm stay.

Room was decent in size but there was no room service available which was inconvenient at times. Staff weren’t that friendly at check in but they were courteous and polite. Lady manning the elevator was welcoming. Room was always cleaned and fresh towels daily.
