Cockroach in the room. ( On the 3rd floor) Could not go back to sleep. Told front desk as I left at 3:00am. They said it was to be expected as hotel is next to a corn field!!! Also white quilt on bed looked dingy as if not washed in months.

Our room was given away to another party with my same name (they had one room reserved, but were given both theirs AND ours since our common names were the same), so when I showed up after a long day of driving with my four exhausted kids at midnight, they did check us in and gave us keys, and when I sent my kids up to the room while I parked the car, someone was already sleeping in the room. I ended up having to make an additional hour and a half drive to find other accommodations that were available that night due to it being the Indy 500 weekend. I had booked the room 2 months ahead of time for that reason. While trying to figure it out, they wasted another 30 minutes of our already exhausting day of traveling. I was promised a follow up the following day, but no one ever called or attempted to make things right. I know mistakes happen, but it really made for a really hard night for me.
