I was very pleased. My entire purpose in coming to South Lake Tahoe is to snowboard. Blackjack Inn was great in letting me park there(free) before my check-in time. Go snowboard and then check in later. Also, after my stay ended, they let me park there (for free) and go snowboard the entire day. The location of the blackjack inn is great. The heavenly gondola is right across the street. Easy walking distance. Plus there are many restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Also, the water for the shower is hot and lasts a long time. I will use this hotel in the future

Family stay at South Lake Tahoe

Smooth check in and check out. Nice varieties of tea, hot cocoa and coffee at reception in the morning. Friendly staff. Gave free upgrade to large room. Sheets and towels not very clean, children were grossed out to sleep on them or take shower. Found large blob of dark hair on my white towel as I was trying to dry myself after the shower. Shower head was clean and modern.

It was a ski trip for us so the location was excellent since the resort was within a walkable distance from the inn. The management team was very friendly and helpful. Also, they let us park there in the morning before we checked in and the afternoon after we checked out which was really great. The room has a fridge and microwave oven which was convenient for us. It also included free coffee at the front desk area in the morning. All in all, it met all our needs for the purpose of trip and i would have rated a 5 star if not because of the cockroach running around on the headboard and the wall at night.

Nice staff. Short walk to the Gondola and places to eat. Style of room was newer/renovated motel room. Value for money considering the price of other properties in the area. No resort fee :)
