Staff was friendly abs helpful. Wanted an extra set of blankets - they brought them right up. Bathroom is annoying: toilet is too close to the sink and tp dispenser; no towel hangers; no screen on the window; outlet did not work; shower head was too high and not adjustable. In the room, it was fine except the phone would not call the office (i had to use my cell), and the window curtain blocked the ac.

What a Dump

Biggest gripe is no housekeeping for the entire 4-day stay. Not that they didn’t have it but that they just didn’t get to our room. We had to go retrieve our own clean towels from the other building and empty our own trash at the dumpsters. Understaffed and run down. They bought the hotel next door and it looks like they overextended. Everything looks run down from the spartan bathroom and toiletries to the drab lobby area, with the bare bones breakfast. Bed was comfortable, AC worked ok but on the noisy side. Too many hotel options in Tahoe to get away with this subpar service for the price. Won’t be back.

Clean rooms, beds were comfortable. Great continental breakfast. Walkable to shops, restaurants, etc. Definitely would stay here again. My only complaint is they need towel racks in the bathroom. Other than that great place to stay!

The location is definitely the highlight here. It’s close to everything and walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, which made the stay really convenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated having plenty of outlets and good Wi-Fi so I could work remotely. The TV was also nice with easy access to streaming platforms like Netflix. On the downside, the bathroom wasn’t clean and even had a few dead small flies on the wall. The shower pressure was so weak it will easily triple your shower time. The free breakfast was nice to have but just the basics like bagels and waffles. Overall, it worked for a short stay if you care more about location and basic comfort, but don’t expect much beyond that.

Good staff, but property owners need to fix things

We enjoyed location (less than a block from target). Bed was comfortable. Service desk was great. Parking was good! Fridge and microwave nice to have. Pet friendly is a plus for us! Older property and it shows. No bathroom vent which explains small amount of mold. Shower control is difficult to set warm or cold. Bathroom lighting too dark (only one light at sink). Our bathroom window screen was in poor condition (had tears/holes that may have let flies/gnats come in). Some dry rot at the baseboard and certain areas of the room. Heating/AC is a wall unit that is ok (please clean and regularly). With some improvements this can be a better accommodation. It’s up to property owner to spend money and fix these issues. Will come back if these are fixed. -please improve shower knob for temp control -please add fan vent for moisture in bathroom -please add another light in bathroom Thank you

It was Ok until it was time to Pay//PLZ READ

First about the room itself: The floor was so dirty it made my feet and socks black walking around on it. The bathroom door didn’t stay closed, even when locked. The road noise is very loud if you’re by the street. There’s no elevator so you will have to drag your suitcases up a flight of stairs if you’re on the second story. Now to biggest reason why I’m leaving such a low review. I paid in full upon check in, but was not given any receipt. After checking my bank, I discovered there was multiple charges from the hotel! On two seperate occasions I went to the front desk to get an explanation but two different men told me “Oh that’s weird, we don’t know why that’s happening”. Very much lack of trying to find an actual answer to my problem. Finally a nice woman gave me an answer on the third try; I was being charged daily for the room instead of the full upfront payment that I had agreed to on check in. She wouldn’t give me any reciept and I was never given a full explanation on why this had occurred besides her saying “someone messed up”. If it had been communicated that I would be charged daily for the room instead, then I could’ve accounted for the charges on my card instead of thinking it was compromised! It was already late in the trip so we decided to stay at the hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Decent enough room but really need to work on communication about billing instead of passing the buck

We found a cockroach in our room. The room needs upgrading it wasn’t the same room pictures on there website. The receptionist wasn’t so friendly or didn’t even say a single word to us upon our checking out. Not even a good morning, how’s was your stay, or thank you for staying wid us none of those. In our behalf of our time in this lodge I will not come here again. Disappointed!

Everything was great except that when I got there and tried to check …….and it was pretty hot at the time they told me that the power had gone out and there was no electricity so I couldn’t check in at the time I was supposed to check in ..you would think there would be some kind of generator back up power to that but anyway everything else was good. I was just a little bit bothered by that !!!!!!! it was probably because of the heat and traveling with a couple of kids.😂😮‍💨 rest of the stay no issues…… but this is my thought on the electricity that went out. There was a lot of construction going on at the time so maybe one of their workers might’ve hit a powerline and took out all the electricity just my thought.

We had booked a non-smoking room and as soon as we entered our room, we were hit with a potent smell of cigarettes. The shower was super small and was only covered with a single shower curtain. There was some sort of leak coming from the shower-head and it sprayed all over the toilet. The bed wasn’t comfortable and it looked like the sheets were not fresh (we bring extra sheets and blankets for this very reason). There were fresh/recent stains on the carpet. The only good things I can say are that the stay was cheap, the front receptionist was super nice and provided good customer service, and the unit was only 5 minutes away from our concert.
