The Palazzo at The Venetian

Along with 11 restaurants, this hotel has a full-service spa and a casino. Additionally, an outdoor pool, 2 poolside bars and a nightclub are on-site.

It definitely needs a much needed renovations the ac can’t handle cooling the room and most of the time, I think cigarette smell seeps through the ac as our room, on th 35th floor can smell of cigarette smoke. Front desk are nice. It’s convenient and walkable to a lot of place and a lot to do inside.

Used the self-check kiosk to check in at 4:30 pm, room wasn't ready. Waited an hour, still no notification about my room being ready. I decided to go to the front desk to inquire about my room, finally got a room at 5:45 pm, when the check-in is supposed to be at 3:00 pm.

We have enjoyed staying at the Palazzo for years - the size of the rooms is a plus for our family. This time we went and had a terrible experience. Check-in process was frustrating - Online check in did not work and we had to check in at the front desk. We were next in line however the front desk attendants kept taking people walking up with complaints before they helped people checking in. Due to the line cutting we were offered a free late check out - which we never got. The day before we checked out we received a message that we received a "Fresh Air" fine for smoking in the room. We immediately called to dispute the fine and were told because it was the holidays and nearing the weekend there were no managers on duty to help us. They assured us someone would contact us on Monday - no one did. I called back and was told they had no record of my initial call. They took my information down, yet again, and I received a canned response saying that they "could not" remove the fee and their sensors are accurate and I was, essentially a liar. It was myself, my husband and our two young children in the room. Additionally, our son is very asthmatic and no one in our household smokes/vapes. I called back to speak to the Resorts Manager who had emailed and sent a follow up email- 6 days later and I have not heard back. Now we are having to dispute the $566 charge with the credit card. The lack of response from the Palazzo has been more frustrating than the actual charge.
