You’re getting outstanding location and a view to match with this property. Beautiful sunset view and a quick and easy walk down to the expansive beach. These are basically the perks and they are both significant. Beyond that it’s basically ordinary. Lobby and other shared spaces feel a bit dated, but so what? You’re probably not there to hang out in those places.There’s a fire pit area, but there’s only like three of them and it’s first come first serve, so get grab one and hold on if there’s availability. If there’s a downside, it’s the gym—very small and backs up to their sauna, so it’s completely overheated. Also, they have a dumbbell tree, but rather comically, they have one dumbbell for each of the few weights that they carry. I don’t think anyone that actually works out came up with this concept. Plan on long walks, yoga, or jogs along the beach for your exercise if you stay here. Overall, we got what we came for. My wife loved the ocean view, and I could see us coming back again.

Definitely our last stay at the Coho

My husband and I have stayed at the Coho a handful of times over the past decade and honestly, we feel like the price is not worth the quality anymore. After our most recent trip, I don’t think we’ll be going back. Pros: The bed and pillows were comfortable. The fire pits were relaxing to sit by whilst watching the sun set. The location is close to shops and restaurants. The front lobby is clean and updated. Cons: Where do I begin…the bathroom is the size of a hall closet. There was also no fan in the bathroom so you had to shower with the door open in order to breathe through the steam. The shower was also SO CREAKY, you could not step anywhere in the shower without extremely loud creaks. The floor did not feel sturdy at all. We are average sized people, and we still both thought the tub was going to fall through the floor. The parking was also not great. There’s over 100 rooms but 15 parking spots. The a/c in the room also did not work. We even had to have maintenance come and “fix it” but still, the room never got below 71 even though we had the thermostat set to 68. It was HOT. The windows wouldn’t open more than 4 inches either!!!!!!! We couldn’t get any airflow or breeze unless we left our room door open to get a cross breeze. I get the safety aspect but my goodness, THERE WAS NO BREEZE AND AC DIDNT WORK!! With the curtains open and the sun shining in, the room got up to 74 at times.

Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. View was perfect, fire pits were nice to use. Breakfast was great! Walls are thin, a little noisy. Surrounding area was not as I had hoped, run down, not great dining options. Sauna was closed.

Great find in Lincoln City

First time staying, but have already booked for a return. Top marks for everything. We had a ground floor room, which opened onto the back of the property. First thing we saw were ducks cruising along! The area for fire pits was great, nice place to chill and watch the sea. Room was comfortable, we had everything we needed. Bed was very comfy, making our 2 nights perfect. This property is walking distance to Kyllo's, which was a real treat for dinner. Property location is pretty central, if you like walking around.

Service and amenities were great however we didn’t get our room cleaned at all during our 3 day stay and didn’t mark for no cleaning. They apologized at checkout which was super appreciated!

Wonderful dog-friendly hotel

We had a wonderful experience with the staff at Coho! They have overflow parking that accommodated our 26’ Uhaul truck. The staff was very welcoming to our dog and provided info on dog park, vets and pet-friendly restaurants. They also gave us a lot of helpful info about the area too. We just moved here and will recommend Coho to all of our out of town guests!

We have stayed previously at one of the Adrift properties in Astoria- and thought we would try this sister property. Chose the cottages as we were a party of 3. The positive- staff friendly, sauna relaxing and rooms clean and in good repair. Restaurant reasonably priced, food tasty and drinks with just the right amount of kick. Free tasting at distillery a nice bonus. The drawbacks- master bedroom so small- couldn't even change our clothes. Our friend in the second room said she felt like she was in a jail cell. No view, sitting on porch almost like sitting in parking lot. I'm taking the time to write this review- because we do like this boutique chain. The cottages do not fit with their brand- and with the new construction coming next door- likely even more so.
