Good location, fine price, should be cleaner

Though affordable compared to other similar hotels in the city, the general condition of the building was sad. The main level wallpaper was very noticeably bubbling in many places. The second floor hallway carpet didn't show heavy wear or appear grimy, but it did have lots of crumbs when we checked in in the evening. Within the room bathroom, the ceiling showed signs of prolonged dampness, perhaps mold? The pool itself was basic and water clear. However, the deck around it needed to be swept up. Not pleasant seeing hairballs all around the pool. One positive was a the amount of breakfast options. I enjoyed the many toppings for yogurt. They'd be excellent for oatmeal too, and I'd recommend a batch of plain hot oatmeal instead of microwave cups of flavored oatmeal. Wouldn't have taken much to change this stay from acceptable to good. Hope it can be next time!

Excellent Value Hotel

Nice clean no frills hotel. The AC kept the room cool during a severe heat wave, and the staff were polite and helpful. I would recommend staying here.
