Excellent property. Good location. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Appreciated the extra touch in room for my wife’s birthday. Quick lift between floors as we stayed on 14th floor looking out to the docks. Good buffet breakfast and was able to order extra poached eggs. Disappointed they didn’t have real HP sauce! Really disappointed with dinner and service. After placing dinner order of two courses to start with the next time we were attended to by staff was fifty minutes later to tell us that what we had ordered for starter was no longer available. Then on receiving starters a further thirty minutes later was really disappointed with cold so called bruschetta. From being seated til receiving main course it was two hours later. At no point during these two hours were we offered any further drinks. During this time other people had arrived after us, been fed and watered and had paid and left. We could also see the chefs clearing away and packing up food. Don’t see how it take this long to make a butterflied chicken breast, which was definitely not fresh as it was so tough, and a spag bol. By this stage no one else was left in the restaurant. We decided to have a desert before leaving which was also terrible, so called Ferrero Roche ie. a chocolate mouse with a f.r. Sweet still in its wrapper placed on top. Terrible food, terrible service and some ridiculous. Had planned to spend the rest of the night in roof top bar but as dinner service took so long got only one drink sht

The best in Liverpool….

We love this hotel, which is the best in Liverpool in our opinion. It is very attractively designed and the rooms are bright, very clean and some have wonderful views across the Mersey. Breakfast is an excellent buffet with a very good range of options. Moreover, the staff are absolutely wonderful and couldn’t be more helpful with any aspects of your stay.

The reception staff were rude many times to us. Especially an employee named Michael. Despite our repeated assurances that only three guests are staying in our room, we have faced continuous accusations and even threats of eviction, which has made our experience deeply unpleasant. To clarify: • Our booking initially included one room for two guests for a week and another room for two nights for three guests. • Instead of the three guests checking out, we requested to upgrade the remainder of our stay to a suite that accommodates three guests—a request that was made openly and in accordance with hotel policies. • If the issue had simply been a booking mistake that required an extra charge, we would have gladly paid to resolve it. However, instead of communicating this professionally, staff members jumped to conclusions and falsely accused us of having additional guests. The accusations were based on completely standard and reasonable requests, such as: • Extra Key Cards – A common request when traveling, which has never been an issue at hotels worldwide. • Extra Duvets – A normal request due to the cold weather. • A Family Member Exchanging Bags – A brief visit that does not violate any reasonable hotel policy. Additionally, a receptionist personally visited our room at night, saw that only three guests were present, and acknowledged our situation. During this visit, we also mentioned that the bed had been changed to a king size, and she informed us that housekeeping was

Great Stay

Went for a birthday celebration and our room was upgraded which was brilliant. Reception and Skybar staff were very good.Room and hotel generally was very clean and we enjoyed a visit to the Skybar. Only slight downside was that some staple items on the breakfast buffet eggs/bacon/sausage took a long time to replenish and staff were scarce

Welcoming and Comfortable

The hotel is set back a little from the main road at the docks but as this was not our first time in Liverpool, and we knew our way around, we were happy with the location. The hotel was lovely and everyone front of house made us feel very welcome. The open plan bathroom was not ideal but, if I were travelling by myself I would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay, for the most part, jelly beans and balloons were a nice touch for our anniversary and birthdays celebrations. But two things slightly took perfection away: -it was lovely and quiet apart from hearing the sky bar bass from the 18th floor (we stayed on 15th) - we had booked drinks at the sky bar and got given a discount for it but at no point were we told that we needed to go down to the ground floor before we are allowed to go up, so we spent 15 mins trying to up 3 floors to the sky bar. So we were late for our reservation.
