This place is interesting to say the least. They took an old bldg and added upgrades. Unfortunately the bathroom style (sliding glass barnyard doors) means you can see through them and the step in shower area is not separated from the sink/toilet well so water goes everywhere. That said, the beds are extremely comfy and the convenience of the wonderful restaurant downstairs is a plus! NOTE parking is a whopping $34 per day. I’ve stayed at Hilton’s that only charge $10-20 even when they could charge more. I highly suggest they stop overcharging for parking or at least give an alternative such as free parking if you dine at their restaurant. My humble opinion.

I was disappointed with having to pay $34 per night for parking which I was told AFTER I paid for my room, but it's pretty crowded down here. Hotel has a really cool old school vibe with a pretty awesome bar and restaurant on the first level. Pillows were 2 out of 10 lol. Otherwise really great stay, 8 out of 10 overall, I enjoyed myself for the most part. All staff were really awesome and accommodating. I would recommend getting a room on the back side due to traffic noise from 8th street, but the views might not be as good as the front.

I love the spot of the hotel, is around the center of LA, a lot of Korean restaurants are nearby. The facilities are really good, they have a piano at the entrance, the old chandelier and the brick wall are a details that stands out the most. The room was really comfortable, I had an issue with the tv and the employee from the front desk quickly resolved it. I love the bathroom, the long stand and the openess of the shower. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were excellent. Maybe a chair or a stool would be nice. The space of the open closet was good for a one person in the room. I love the giant mirror and the details of the wall. The front desk is really helpful and really friendly. The only thing that I dislike was the sound of the elevator. The elevator were a little loud, my room were next to it. When people used it, it was like knocking on the door. The AC works perfectly and the hot water runs pretty well.

$200/night does NOT get you coffee in the morning, a mini fridge in your room, or thick walls so you’re not hearing conversations from neighboring rooms. Surprised, but wouldn’t stay here again for that price.

Front desk staff were very friendly and professional. Street traffic was quite loud and the bathroom had translucent doors, so too visible for a family of four. Also, the shower allows water to go everywhere. For a one night stay to visit USC the area, this was fine but not very luxurious and would not walk around this area.
