The staff was very courteous and friendly. Helpful with food choices in area. My only disappointment was that it changed to continental breaskfast than the awesome jimmy dean egg muffins and sausage muffins. Was one of the highlight to frequently traveling thru Grant's Pass. Bananas were also available., not anymore. We usually 5 to 6 times per year. 1 day up snd 1 day down.. Please bring back muffins and bananas.

We enjoyed our stay and the property was clean and fresh. We found a Brewery with food trucks around the block and walked to it. We would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel based on customer reviews, and booked it fairly late in the day after a long day of driving and sight-seeing!! What a pleasant surprise. The young lady at check-in was very friendly and helpful. The hotel looks like it has had some updates and renos - it was so very clean we even commented to the staff in the morning when we went down for breakfast that we thought their cleaning staff should train cleaning staff of other hotels because they do such a wonderful and thorough job - they obviously take pride in their work!! We were so pleased with this hotel that we decided instead of moving to another hotel again, we booked a second night and used it as our base for the next day's sightseeing itinerary!!

Terrible mattress

The WORST mattress ever. I didn’t think to ask if we could switch rooms. Wish I had, it’s hard to travel when you wake up exhausted. Otherwise the rooms and hotel were very pleasant.

Good value

Standard rooms don’t have microwaves. If I’d completely read the room amenities I would have seen that but didn’t. The suite I stayed in a couple weeks ago had one so I assumed all rooms did. So I couldn’t heat what I’d brought along for my dinner & had to go out & get something after a 5.5 hr drive, bleh. The hotel itself is a good value & always clean. Very convenient location to freeway, some close-by food & more expansive selection just a few miles into town.

The staff at the front desk would not allow me to park in the lot. There were over 20 free spaces and she had commented that no one else was expected that night. I parked my small suv with an 8’ trailer in spaces on a side where there were no cars. She insisted that I move the vehicle and gave no explanation. She treated me poorly and I did not respond well. She threatened to have me towed or call the cops. If I didn’t move my vehicle to a spot that wasn’t even a parking spot. I will never stay at this red lion again and will be very choosy next time. I am planning a trip.
