Disgusting Experience - Avoid at All Costs!

This place was absolutely atrocious! From the moment I checked in, I noticed the lack of cleanliness og this do called resort. Firstly they only had 4 elevators for a 19 floor building with no service elevators, so it took forever to get to our rooms. When I entered the unit I quickly realized that the carpets were stained, the sheets looked dirty, and there was a musty odor in the air. But the worst part came when I turned on the lights at night and saw roaches scurrying across the floor and walls. I was absolutely horrified and disgusted. It was clear that this hotel had a serious pest problem that they were not addressing. I immediately went down to the front desk to complain, but the staff seemed indifferent and unapologetic about the situation. They never offered to move me to another room, staying that I needed to contact my host since I booked through a third party, vrbo. I tried doing that and I was given the runaround. When I called vrbo, they said they would handle the matter but they never reached out to me either! I spent over 4 thousand dollars for a week stay and because we came during spring break it was impossible to find other accommodations not to mention expensive so my family and I had no choice but to live with roaches for a week. Overall, my experience was a nightmare, and I would not recommend it to anyone!
