Property was lovely. Our shower door handle was broken. We were never told about yoga on the rooftop and we were not given complementary drinks when we arrived. We would have loved more information upon check-in as we did not know we could use the facilities across the street either. After we checked out we were giving a hard time about our daughter‘s bracelet being off, when we tried to use the rooftop pool. a better system has to be in place other than those plastic uncomfortable bracelets. Other than that, we will return again. It was lovely and quiet, but the rooms should be checked for broken items before people check-in as it was a safety hazard.

Problems with the air conditioner the television & toilet service to get things fixed. cleanliness ,food is terrible. Drinks are way overpriced and the majority of the guests with the long hair curls ,beards and strings hanging from their pants is overwhelming. They are extremely rude people and not hygiene. friendly will never return Even if it was offered for free.

A terrible nightmare, half the rooms have broken air conditioning, bad plumbing. The common area restrooms are filthy. They do not honor guaranteed check in at 4 PM. We had to change rooms three times including after unpacking and settling in due to a toxic gas leak from the air-conditioning unit in our room. No one answers at the front desk. We nearly called the fire department. Zero effort and zero management- if you need help for anything there’s no Concierge no management absolute horrible experience. Despite two in person messages, phone messages and two emails over the course of one week we had no response whatsoever from management to our emails and concerns. You could not pay me to stay at this place ever again. The only good thing is the location and one employee at the restaurant along with one employee at baggage/valet.

Beautiful hotel and great location, but service was horrible. No one ever answered the phone at the front desk. Sometimes there would be no one at the front desk, even at peak daytime hours. It often took 15 minutes just to get down the elevator to the lobby. The valet was expensive and the line was always long. They didn’t take calls or texts to order your car. You had to physically go down to the valet and then wait on average another 15 minutes for them to pull it around. When we arrived neither of the TV’s worked. One night there was no hot water. The cleaning staff were very rude.

It’s a great hotel with a great location but it desperately needs a renovation. There are 3 elevators and only two were working. Daily one of the two were not working which left one elevator for the entire hotel.

Was really looking forward to staying at the Grand Beach Surfside as I had heard good things. While the location is good the hotel was chaotic. Not enough staff. The rooms are clean and fine but the air conditioners are extremely loud making it impossible to sleep at night. There is no where to get a snack after 9 pm. The beach amenities are poor. They would not put up umbrellas stating that they weren’t allowed yet all of the hotels surrounding the hotel had their umbrellas up. If you left your chair it would be given away. I asked for a later check out and they agreed for one hour as my flight was delayed. I had housekeeping staff bugging me 3 times during that time frame to leave and it was within that time frame. A green juice in the morning was over $14 US. Crazy. My friend was put into an accessible room with a broken shower head and no hot water. They were very unhelpful. I don’t think I would chose to stay here again even though I did like the location in Miami b
