We love coming to Trump Doral with or without our dog. It is one of few places that is truly dog friendly. The staff is outstanding and the grounds and accommodations are beautiful. Everything is well-maintained and service has always been top-notch. I don't know how, but accidentally rated this property a low rating a few days ago - I wonder if my phone was in my pocket and the Expedia app was open or something. Definitely a 5 star stay every time we visit, which is multiple times a year.

Lack of Communication, poor training

Communication with the property prior to the stay is impossible. The phone just rings and rings and rings. It doesn't matter what time of day you call, nobody answers. The staff at the front desk don't have a good grasp on what they're doing or how to handle multiple reservations under one name or even how to extend reservations. There is a lack of communication between the front desk and housekeeping team, as well as the sales & events team.
