This property is only a year old and lovely...most of the hotels in Carmel are old. Everything from the room, amenities, staff, breakfast, parking was terrific! We will definitely stay at the Stilwell again!

Stillwell staff was incredible! From the moment we stepped onto the property until we left, they were all gracious, helpful, and pleasant. The room was cozy and updated with modern conveniences and great style. We could tell there was a lot of thought that went into the recent remodel and it paid off. We also found the snacking options wonderful with hand made pizza and cocktails available in the common area; very nice.

My wife and I have had a rough couple of weeks and were looking for a chance to get some physical distance from everything. While shopping around for places to stay in Carmel, I stumbled onto the Stilwell Hotel website. It was exactly what we needed. The staff work tirelessly to make sure your stay is relaxing and stress free. The attention to detail they exhibited for even just keeping the grounds clean and welcoming was top notch. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to staying there again in the near future.

Our stay was perfect. There are many good things about the place. Room was clean, had a big water bottle that is refilled every day. Parking is easy and very close to the room and FREE!. Has a lot of outdoor seating areas which were very nice with fireplaces and outdoor heaters. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast is something you dont want to miss, great food, fresh and tasted amazing. Place is close to many nice restaurants and art galleries. Oh and the place is dog friendly!

At check in all staff were friendly and helpful. They walked me over to my room. Everything was clean and the area was quiet. No loud noise so it was very peaceful the 2 nights that I was there. I love how every night you can order pizza or charcuterie boards and enjoy the fire in the seating area. Breakfast was nice. I like how everything was laid out and prepped. You get a lot of healthy options. You can take the food to your room or sit outside and enjoy your breakfast. The hotel was close to everything. I did some shopping and also walked down to the beach. There was enough parking and fairly safe. I appreciate the staff for helping me load up my car when I checked out. Thank you Stilwell for making my solo trip memorable!
