Hotel was ok. Room was very run down with poor quality items (towels, coffee,etc) for the price. The pool said it offered food to order and when clicking the QR code it didnt work. Will not stay here again.

Overall it’s in a good location to drive south on HWY 1. However, we showed up and they informed us the water would be turned off during our first night, which wasn’t disclosed when I booked and was quite inconveniencing and disappointing when we couldn’t brush our teeth or shower when we got back to the hotel that evening… they also didn’t supply any water and would charge $6 if you used one of their water bottles they left in the room. Which also leaves me to my next point. They also charge $30 per night for you to park in their parking lot and a $10 facility fee per night…. I stayed 2 nights and walked out with an $88 charge for parking (especially considering we didn’t use their pool or hot tub). Also don’t be fooled, it says “full breakfast available”… NOT breakfast included! Breakfast for 2 became another $70… all in all it could’ve been a very cute place but they nickel and dimed and didn’t give any heads up for an extremely inconvenient thing like having no water during our stay….

The hotel is in a nice area. The staff is friendly. Basically the room is clean. Our rooms furniture was chipped up. The heater smelled really bad. With Clorox wipes that we brought. I started cleaning the heater. I don’t think it has ever been cleaned… There is a thick layer of dirt. For the price in Carmel. It’s a good s as it gets. They put money into the front end and the bowels need some investment. The restaurant is pretty good.
