Auf der Webseite sehen die Zimmer toll aus: geräumig, hell und mit grossen Fenstern. Als ich sechs Wochen nach der Buchung bei Ebookers eincheckte, bekam ich allerdings eine dunkle Klause mit Blick auf die nächste, knapp 50 cm entfernte Backsteinmauer. Nein, das war kein Irrtum und auch keine Verwechslung, erfuhr ich an der Reception. Ich hätte das letzte noch verfügbare Zimmer erhalten. Und ja, man müsste die Kundschaft wohl besser vorgängig darüber aufklären, dass einige der Räume "kind of odd" seien - angeblich "etwas über hundert". Auf meine wiederholte Reklamation hin erhielt ich anderntags ein Zimmer mit Tageslicht. Aber die Wände und Böden sind schlecht isoliert, die Betten eindeutig ungesund weich. Zudem hat das Housekeeping während meines Aufenthalts nicht funktioniert. Nur zwei Mal wurde das Zimmer gereinigt, einmal sehr gut, das zweite Mal soso lala. Ein weiteres Mal entsorgte man bloss den Trash und ersetzte das fehlende Toilettenpapier und Kleenex. Ersatz für Frottee-Wäsche musste ich mir am fünften Tag an der Reception selber besorgen. Ich glaube nicht, dass es am Willen des Personals mangelt. Meiner Ansicht nach fehlt es an einem professionellen Management, ehrlicher Website-Information, dem Training der Angestellten und womöglich auch an deren fairen Anstellungsbedingungen und Löhnen?
