We had a good stay. Place was clean and kitchen had what was needed. It had a washer and dryer which I couldn’t find listed which was great. There was some smoking in the balcony’s which the staff tried to address as best they could. They were always very kind and responsive. I couldn’t find anything posted about garbage or recycling which could have been a me issue but when I called the staff was great and helpful. The pools were under construction and we were warned and it looks like they’re going to be great when they’re done soon. Scoobys was great as an ice cream option for the kids! It was very quiet between the walls which was wonderful. The only thing that wasn’t great was the parking garage- have a large SUV and we managed but it was scary due to the narrowness. Overall I would recommend.

I was expecting the pool update to be complete, I don't know why. It was not, because of construction the beach access was closed. The hotel next door let us use their access, but getting there was still sketchy. The beds were so hard. What is it with hotels and hard mattresses? I had to sleep sitting up to prevent back and hip pain. Many of the outlets did not work, my son wasn't happy about searching for an outlet. I wish we had a broom and dustpan in the closet to daily sweep up the sand. But we had a great time at the beach.

Enjoyable Stay

The overall stay was great. The entrance on the ground floor had us a little iffy but once we got to our room it was very clean and spacious, kitchen was updated and nice. We utilized the washer and dryer in our room as well. We were surprised about the construction to the outside pool area of the hotel. The inside pool and lazy river were still available for use and we were able to access the neighboring bar and pool. Not having the outside pool was a small inconvenience however the kids really loved the stay. The hotel is on the South end so a short drive to attractions is a must.

One pack of coffee, no cream or sugar, when I ask for another pack of coffee was told they only give on. Also one small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which is enough for one shower. Also lots of construction going on, went to indoor pool and the dust and noise was awful. Will never stay there again.

The room was not initially cleaned to our satisfaction so they had to come and clean the room all over again and they didn't tell us when we booked that they were under construction so that was unsatisfactory it was up to me. I would ask for a refund 😡

We've stayed at Grand Atlantic before this trip. We always are pleased and return. I usually book directly with them but booked through expedia this time. I wasnt told by expedia when booking that the outside pools and areas are under construction. This was a short weekend trip and thanks to Josh at the front desk for helping make it a more pleasant experience and stay despite the construction.

Probably one of the worst places we have stayed at in Myrtle Beach. They are currently under construction and didn’t provide notice beforehand. Little to no amenities, customer service was subpar. ⭐️⭐️
