Location is great! French quarter and Business district are very walkable! The room was great with the exception of the shower head being a rain shower head-these are awful for ladies that do not wash our hair daily! The front desk staff is competent but absolutely not friendly. No smiles, ne real greeting, it was like being checked in by a computer.

An old property which has been restored to a high standard. Our bedroom was huge with seperate sitting area. Located within the Gaslamp Quarter and restaurants. Close to a Ralph’s Supermarket.

Easy check in. The desk clerk, Cynthia, helped us schedule a tour, called them to schedule and helped figure out the best pick up point to navigate around the Mardi Gras parade route. The only downside was our room was next to the pool mechanical room, which was very noisy.

I love the location. Always have and always will. The old girl is getting a little tattered and I love that wear most of all. Staff in all areas were helpful, kind and cordial, My room was cozy and comfortable.

It’s a historic property with historic quarks. The front desk is very helpful and kind. Housekeeping failed to do basic things like provide clean towels. Great location for adventuring, restaurants, and entertainment destinations (casino). Inside room didn’t have a window, but also provides a shield from noisy party-goers.

The staff was wonderfully friendly! Because it is a smaller hotel, there was no wait to get a valet to park or retrieve the car or to get a luggage cart, and there was none of the typically New Orleans hotel during Mardi Graas chaos. The noise from a few cars playing loud music and from the nearby House of Blues at 1am did disrupt our sleep. Also, the pool has debris (bird feathers, for example) floating on top and what appeared to be pieces of the pool itself sitting on the bottom. NOT a horrible experience, but it was not a great choice for us for the cost.

Charming French Quarter Hotel

Charming French Quarter hotel near the river and perfectly walkable to Bourbon and Canal. Nearby attractions are all walkable - Cafe DuMonde, shops, bars, restaurants, etc. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the hotel has a unique layout and pretty courtyard area. It is older but that is part of the charm and the bathroom was nice and updated.
