A beautiful property! Lots of outdoor seating to have coffee or relax with friends. Lots of plants in the outdoor courtyard made the place very inviting.

I was surprised by how dated the property is for a Sonesta property. The shower leaked, ceiling fans were missing the cord to turn them off, the carpet was worn. However, the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful and the surrounding area was full of restaurants, galleries, and the WWII museum.

Located within the Warehouse District (working to become the Arts District), the hotel is located a few blocks from the World War II museum, the Convention Center and access to the buses, trolleys and hop on hop off rides.

They told us if we paid 100 we could check in early got there and was able to check in until 30 before reg check in. Valet parking messed with truck when in their possession with radio and seat.

About a 25-minute walk from Bourbon street which we didn't mind because we expected to walk. Streetcars were also an option. The property was a bit outdated. The carpet was run down and it wasn't the cleanest. The curtains were stained. The bathtub had debris in it. Bathtub would not drain properly which resulted in water pooling at our feet during showers. We appreciated having breakfast available and access to a pool.

Nice hotel for long weekends and longer stays

This hotel was convenient to where we needed to be in New Orleans. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rates were good, and had decent offerings for breakfast which is always a plus! The rooms were spacious. Our room had a small kitchenette (includes microwave, fridge, small stove, and coffee maker). We found having a fridge and microwave to be extremely useful during our stay. The bathroom was a little small but functional. Our bed was a little bit on the softer side but that's just a preference. Overall it was a nice room with useful equipment, and easy for us to get around.

Overall a great stay. We had some leak issues during an intense thunderstorm and they moved us right away, no questions asked. Some furniture is a bit scuffed up, probably due to the pet friendliness of the hotel (which we didn’t mind!) but the courtyard was lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was kind. We also loved the area—great restaurants within a few minutes walk, calmer than the French Quarter which can get overwhelming and close to the Garden District. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!
