Staff was very nice and we had a 2nd floor room with balcony. It was a good location for activities in the French Quarters and they have a nice little courtyard. However they were doing some remodeling and were using some kind of glue maybe on flooring in hallway that smelled like a solvent. It did not come into the room but was horrible going back and forth to our room. They should not have rented this floor during remodel. One morning we had a large coachroach on the bathroom floor, maybe it got in through the small gap in bottom of the door.

My first room was not what I expected: small window, coffeepot cord wouldn’t reach an outlet, the AC made noises all night. The second room was better. The front desk staff were hit or miss . We were told we had a free upgrade but then they charged us $80/night. Next time. I think we will pick another hotel

Location was excellent. Rooms were clean and staff was helpful. Disappointed that on our first morning there, we had no hot water. The hotel is undergoing some renovations and we had to get a maintenance person up to our room to restore hot water. After that, our stay was very nice. There should be some warning about the construction before the room was booked.

Excellent staff!! From the valet "Joe" to the front desk, and housekeeping everyone demonstrated outstanding customer service. Perfect location on Bourbon street, great food, fun, and local jazz bars next door.
