First time ever staying at a hostel and I can say this was the best Stay. Rooms are very well maintained, & staff & housekeepers are very helpful. Definitely will book this hostel again on my next visit! Located around a lot of restaurants and interactions with a good walking distance to Times Square & Central Park.

Pros: Great location, clean rooms and nice kitchen area. Other guests in the room were respectful and quiet. Lockers were convenient (bring your own lock). Pods were very comfortable. Almost never had to wait to use the washroon. Felt safe. Cons: Climbing to the top bunk was a bit difficult. Generally there were a lot of squeeky sounds whenever someone was tossing and turning in their pod. Overall I would recommend it for a short stay.

Mixed Review

First time staying here. Location is good. The facilities are nice. I booked in advance for a bed in 4 bunk female dorm. When I arrived I was told they did not have a bottom bunk in a 4 bed room(as requested and confirmed) but they would put me in a 6 bed room with 3 other females - I was fine with this. I only had one other person in the room with me which turned out to be one of the male security guards. The first night they came in after midnight the second night they came in very sick and kept me awake with their coughing. On one hand it was nice to have the room basically to myself but on the other I was bit peeved that they would put me alone with a male person and not advise me of this.

Poor housekeeping

The staff displayed a friendly demeanor and maintained a clean common area, but I experienced a problem with housekeeping, which neglected to clean the rooms & bathrooms, remove trash, provide clean towels, or change beddings. The attached photos show that the bedding was not changed daily with fresh linens, as indicated by the lipstick mark I made the following morning of my arrival to monitor changes, as well as the trash upon arrival and departure. I filed a complaint, but the property merely responded stating it had fulfilled its obligations. Poor resolution.

Decent. Not the easiest to check in, and not the most accommodating when making reasonable requests (I was charged $50 to change to a ground bed because of an injury) and one guest was making phone calls while I was asleep. Great location though!
