This was a pleasant surprise. Very Ikea ish modern, renovated, SUPER QUIET, the advance, touchless check in was a little squirely, but not impossible. We stayed in a 2 person private cabin with private bathroom. While this room was super tiny and no storage space, it was just what we needed for the perfect location. It was moderate in price, even had flat screen TV, a mini fridge, GREAT A/C,a chair, no windows, bathroom was also modern and super clean and regular size providing toiletries. The room was also keyless entry with usually took 2-3 tries to get it to work, but not a major issue and super convenient no needing to keep keys. There is a regular size common fridge, common bathroom and common mini kitchen on each floor. Each floor also has a common sitting area with tables perfect for laptop work with charges for fone. etc ....What to improve on: The room was incredbly dark, great for sleeping, a bit uncomfortable not having access to lights to look for luggage items etc. Bathroom was also very dark and made it difficult for shaving etc. THE BED! While the bed was electronically adjustable for head etc, it was small for 2 adults. The base appeared to be for a twin bed and the mattress was a "full size" that did not fit on top of the base. If you tried to sit or sleep on the edge of the mattress, you would literally fall off. Overall was a good stay and I would definitely try it again!! Thank you Nap and Nap team.

Room was 100 percent black. Walls, ceiling, sheets and chair. No window. And a string of ceiling mounted purple lights that stayed on all night. Very odd. The foam mattress did not fit the bed frame and hung over the edge about 6”. So you could not sit of the edge of the Bed.

Personally I love this location, near a bunch of food options, subway lines, nightlife, attractions, and not too far from Central Park and everything else in Midtown. As for the property itself, it's pretty much what you'd expect, considering the price is like half of anything else in the area: A hostel, where the extent of privacy you can expect is curtains on the bunk beds, and the showers don't even have showerheads. But it's clean enough, the lockers are fairly large, and there are lots of little modern features (like the checkout robot), so overall I'd say it's a solid option for anyone who'd like to stay in the center of Manhattan without breaking the bank.

Very modern and upscale. Friendly staff - including full-size robot at check-in! Sleeping pods were well equipped for electronic devices and were designed for privacy. Common areas on each floor had comfortable seating, and even massage chairs! Highly recommend!!!

Location is great and the common areas are nice, but I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm and the mattress was very hard, the room was freezing and I was only given a single thin bed sheet.

Great quiet environment, close to subway stops that can take you all over the city. Staff were super polite and ensured that all areas were clean. The common area was a great place to eat and charge your devices. I stayed in the women’s only pod of 6 and it was a pleasant stay, some people are in and out within the day and so you’ll see some changing faces, but a very pleasant stay overall.

The front desk guys were VERY helpful and friendly :) The bunk was a good size but only offered a sheet for coverage. There was a small fan in the pod but it was jimmied up with a metal clip to help it hang and it lightly/moderately vibrated against the metal wall of the bed frame. The plug for the pod lamp was very loose and often had to be plugged back in. That being said everything did work, and I was only sleeping so it didn't matter too much. The lid to bathroom garbage can wasn't attached which required touching to open it and I found it to regularly fall off as well for some reason. There was no garbage in the common bathroom or bedroom space, only in the toilet/shower space. Although the neighborhood was a little "rough" and unkempt it is NYC ;) And otherwise, the location was fantastic! 2 blocks or so from Central Park, 4 or 5 from Times Square. Easily within walking distance to Upper West Side, and I also walked from Battery Park to Nap York. I took a bus tour but walked everywhere else. I also took the bus and train to and from the airport :) I would definitely stay again.

Honestly super clean and staff were nice. My only thing was I wish the AC had more power to it. I know it says AC on the profile but when it’s multiple people in a room the girls room felt kinda stuffy. Other than that very convenient for the price and great location !

I stayed for about 11 days and truly enjoyed the location and cleanliness. If you plan on staying I do suggest bringing your own blanket as the sheets are very thin. I had an amazing experience!

This is an interesting concept. I stayed in a private room with a bathroom. The walls, curtains, bed sheets, chair, table and refrigerator were all black. The main room had one overhead light fixture that was pretty dim and one strip of LED. The room is set up sleeping. The bedroom was a good size. The bathroom/shower were well lit and generous for NYC. There is plenty to like about the set up and location. The only negative for me was the bed was on a frame that wasn't big enough so the futon seemed to slip off the unsupported side as I slept.

4 pod quad. Bed was comfortable. Nap York supplied fan was necessary. Quiet when I was there. Earplugs and sleep mask supplied. Good neighborhood. Lots of dining options and easy subway access. Concerns: Curtain "door" to pod hung too low letting light in. Light triggered by motion sensor - suggest a piece of tape for covering the lens if you're an early riser or go to bed late. Pod made of metal -> bump=noise Neither shower shoes nor lock supplied - bring your own. Room had one bathroom including toilet, shower and sink. Would be better if these were split. Very small work surfaces in common areas. Robotic concierge more annoying than helpful. No thermostat control - on the warm side. No instructions, etiquette guide, or halful lables on anything. Trial and error. Free water from faucet only. Vending prices outrageous.
