Very good location, good food and nice room.
Next to the famous fried pork restaurant, just opposite to the boat yard and thus is just next to the 'boat yard' bus stop. 15Mins walk to the famous waterfall.
Food is very tasty, the staff serve well too.
Room is big and tidy. My room has a lake view but there is a triangular thing outside the windows that blocked 1/3 of the view.
Great local traditional dishes, nice hot spring bath, comfortable bed, excellent lake view, tourist friendly. No computer, no wifi, just relax. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, so it is very convenience if you hold a nikko discount pass, you could either go deeper inside, or just head back to the main train stations to finish your trip.
