Easy check in. Room is clean! New bathtub. Sink is older with stains, Some appliances are a little rusty, but overall, staff was helpfull, and for one night, a clean bed and clean bath are all I needed, as well as a balcony on the water to enjoy the sounds of the ocean!

We really enjoyed our stay at Castle in the Sand. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, which was perfect for our family with seven little kids across two rooms. Having a ground-floor room was a huge plus—easy to get in and out. The location was great, especially since the bar was just a short walk away, so we could unwind easily. The kids loved being able to play in the sand right outside back, and they had a fantastic time in the pool. It was also a big help that we could cook our own dinners in the kitchenette without any trouble. Overall, a really nice spot for families looking for a relaxed beach getaway.

We've stayed at many beach properies over the years. Some have been more worn than others. We did get a good deal for this weekend, and the rooms are clean. The hotel is definitely worn; some paint and freshening up of the grounds is needed. Front desk staff is helpful. The other staff is not very friendly.

Fantastic stay!

We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to staying again. Such a fun atmosphere with friendly and generously accommodating staff. The bands were great! The children enjoyed their stay with the beach at their door! The apartment was spotless. The beds were not comfortable to me and hurt my back but to be fair I am recovering from surgery and needed to be in it for a lot of our stay. Nice sheets and pillows though. Furniture in very good condition with a kitchen table. Perfect touch. The tv was super nice and a good size and the channel selection was better than economy. An appreciated touch was a DVD player with movies to "rent" in the lobby (they give you your money back when you return the movie) and an optional remote available by request from the front desk. Perfect for the children's request for Moana. The kitchen was perfectly maintained and well stocked and any needed items were immediately provided on request. The Castle in the Sands coffee is an exclusive blend and it is delicious!! Even the tiniest detail of having a reusable coffee pot filter was appreciated. This was such a great decision to break the monotony after surgery and needing recovery. The children were happy and I could rest while hubby and grandparents stepped in for the day. I could sit in my lounger while the kids played in the sand listening to the great live music with a full restaurant and bar a few steps away with delicious virgin yummies too! Thank you for such an awesome place!!

Wonderful for Everyone

We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to staying again. Such a fun atmosphere with friendly and generously accommodating staff. Drinks and food from Coconuts was fantastic. The bands were great! Everyday is a good time in an atmosphere that is open to all and friendly even to the smallest of patrons. You can choose to be a social butterfly or wish to be solitary. You can sit by the beach or the HUGE pool. If you have littles, I highly recommend the beach level units! Our rooms were spotless and while our bathtub showed its age by years of sand and bathing it was also spotless and delivered with a nice deep relaxing bath. The beds were okay. Not the most comfy but they didn't hurt my back. Nice sheets and pillows. Furniture in very good condition with an awesome dinner table with small drop leaves for expansion. Perfect touch. The tv was super nice and a good size and the channel selection was better than economy. A super nice touch was a DVD player with movies to "rent" in the lobby (they give you your money back when you return the movie) and an optional remote available by request from the front desk. There are SO many POSITIVES this review will be too long and I'm about out of time. The kitchen was perfectly maintained and well stocked with all needed items. Uncomfortable beds. Need nightstand with outlets between twin beds. Would be nice to supply a roll of paper towels and some basic seasonings in kitchen, salt/pepper. Would love more privacy on the balcony. Staff was wonderful and we would definitely stay again

This is an older hotel with 3 buildings. We were in the oldest building. It had a bedroom and a living room with a small kitchen. Needed updated, but we could see they had a hopper with carpeting etc, so I bet they were doing some renovation. Coconuts bar and grill was outside the living room door which was fun, but noisy.
