Direct beach access. Smaller scale hotel - nothing super fancy, but clean & Eric at the front desk (perhaps a manager) went above and beyond to remedy an error on Expedia’s part. An upgrade guaranteed room was booked & unavailable upon check in. I could have cried - this little getaway was intended to be without the burden of flying & be a balcony suite, oceanfront (which is my zen zone). While it was not a balcony as expected - Eric was able to gain us access to oceanfront as promised. While this may, for some, may appear as an expectation - in the industry and world we live in? Such as a small resort (seasonally active) town such as OCMD, there are no guarantees & customer service can be obsolete. But Eric chose to NOT be like the others - and while not the fanciest of hotels, he was wonderful & we must pay respect where it is due!
