We were in room 105. The room was clean, but there was a mildew odor throughout and visible mildew on the textured ceiling. The cleaning staff were very pleasant and helpful. The outdoor and indoor pools were better than average but I would recommend the hotel staff make periodic visits to clean the water and surroundings. Especially in the indoor pool where the dressing and bathrooms are. The breakfast however was awful. Milk was sour and orange juice was not properly mixed and was thick. Overall it was a great visit and stay in Ocean City MD.

We didn’t get a room we booked and paid for it and when we tried to reach out both the hotel and Expedia customer service but the didn’t want to resolve the issue . It’s totally a scam and I recommend everyone to do not use Expedia either book the quality inn hotel .

Direct beach access. Smaller scale hotel - nothing super fancy, but clean & Eric at the front desk (perhaps a manager) went above and beyond to remedy an error on Expedia’s part. An upgrade guaranteed room was booked & unavailable upon check in. I could have cried - this little getaway was intended to be without the burden of flying & be a balcony suite, oceanfront (which is my zen zone). While it was not a balcony as expected - Eric was able to gain us access to oceanfront as promised. While this may, for some, may appear as an expectation - in the industry and world we live in? Such as a small resort (seasonally active) town such as OCMD, there are no guarantees & customer service can be obsolete. But Eric chose to NOT be like the others - and while not the fanciest of hotels, he was wonderful & we must pay respect where it is due!

Don’t get catfished!

Room size was not mention in description so I assumed it was a standard 350 sq ft. It was not. Closer to 150 sq ft. Hotel is old and outdated. Water stains on ceiling tiles and mold around bath tub. Balcony door was broken and could not close all the way. Elevator did not work and I suspect it hasn’t worked in a long time.

This hotel’s redeeming quality is its staff. They are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The hotel itself needs a deep cleaning and updating. Awful smell in the room kitchen area. Gross bathtub. Kitchen stocked with one fork for the whole family to share. No decent coffee maker in room and weak watered down machine in breakfast area. Sludge in the drip pan of the ice machine. Difficult to relax in the general feeling of grime everywhere.

Where to start ... our room was dirty to put it bluntly and a number of things did not work very well. The bathroom sink leaked water onto the counter; the bathtub drained very poorly, leaving one to stand in an inch or so of soapy water; the refrigerator was tilted forward such that the door could barely be pried opened (we tried to remedy that, with minimal success, by placing towels underneath the fridge); the bed spreads were stained; and the counters, mirrors, and night stands were pretty grimy. I spent a lot of time cleaning and sanitizing with lysol. On the plus side, when we requested a resupply of towels, etc, the staff was prompt and accurate in responding to our request.

The location is great. The hotel is dirty, has a pungent odor, and there was mold and mildew in the bathroom and room. The free breakfast is lacking in options compared to other hotels that offer breakfast. We requested service to the hotel each day but they never came, therefore the garbage piled up and we had to go down to the office daily for new towels. Will not stay here again.

I have stayed at plenty of ocmd hotels and am not expecting a high standard of accommodation and am ok with that, but I will not return to this hotel. I reserved an ocean front upper on Expedia and was put on the second floor where I could hear the family conversations and smell the smokers at the pool if the balcony door was left open making it unusable. It smells like pot everywhere and disgusting garage or left over take out. The hotel is dirty, very dirty, trash is left everywhere outside the property. It is hard to feel comfortable because you do not feel clean. The cleaning lady didn't change our bedding or sweep the room the 4 nights we were there. They would service the room upon request, which we did, and received towels and one poor attempt at making the beds. They did not sweep, wipe any surfaces or clean the bathroom. The balcony curtain and opener are stained. The floor of the balcony has red sticky goo on the ground and the plastic furniture is tired. The water in the bath tub would not drain so you'd stand in your dirty water and have to wait for it to drain before another could start their shower. The sink P trap leaked which we reported, it was not fixed. We requested it again, which an attempt was made and a sink stopper was brought so I guess that is good, but the sink still leaks from the trap when we left. A major concern is there is mold everywhere on the ceiling and walls. The breakfast is not as advertised and is not hot.

Property has 2 buildings— a large interior hotel that faced the beach and a smaller rundown motel across the parking lot facing the street. The room we reserved was city view so that put us in the rundown motel building. The room was extremely small and rundown. The balcony sliding door wouldn’t open, there were stains on the bathroom walls and ceiling tiles, the phone wasn’t connected to anything, and there was mold or mildew on the window AC unit that was in the wall. The location was good, no problem finding parking and the 2 pools were fine. If you book, I would highly recommend getting oceanfront or at least ensure you are in the large building on the beach. Note: the lobby is in the motel portion. There are no signs so we had no clue where to check in until we asked a cleaning lady.

We had a great 3 days stay. Lots of dining options around.Walking distance to boardwalk and parks. Just a little problem with a buthtub which was resolved promptly by manager Eric. He also gave us some refund/credit for the inconvenience. Thank you for the nice vacation to hotel and stuff.
