Quick staycation

The property itself is very clean and well-maintained, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The rooms, particularly the townhouse suite we stayed in, could benefit from some updates. I was surprised that they charged $3 per bottle of water, especially for a multi-level suite. Additionally, $26 for a basic buffet felt overpriced. One issue we encountered was a disconnect with the breakfast option. We had booked a rate that included breakfast, but when we arrived, it wasn’t honored. Thankfully, Hotels.com handled it well by refunding me in One Key Cash, but it was still an inconvenience when I was expecting breakfast in the morning. The townhouse itself was well-equipped, with two TVs—one upstairs and one downstairs. However, the room showed signs of age and could use some modernization, particularly with the carpeting and paint. I also don’t understand why hotels still have bathtubs in these types of rooms; a walk-in shower would be a much better update. That said, I would stay here again. The bed was very comfortable and clean, which made for a good night’s sleep.

TV Not Adequate

I registered 4 points with the front desk to provide constructive criticism. The most annoying challenge, which I will share was the TV - according to the engineer who came to assist, the property recently changed providers. The channels that came up when utilizing the channel button to go up or down were not the same offering as what was listed in the guide. The only way to watch TV was to stop on a station when utilizing the channel button. I was unable to choose a channel by keying in a channel , or by utilizing the four-way arrows to navigate the guide. News channels did not come up in the scrolling.

I spent one night at this property and found it clean and quiet. Parking was free and close to the entrance. The rooms are a little older with not great light but my room was clean. I was able to sleep peacefully here.
