You get what you pay for

The toilet was dirty as was the shower. There was no washcloths in the room my son stayed in, nor hand towels (plenty of towers) Room 163. The lights went out and no explanation as to why. The shower curtains were angled so much so that it did not close Room 152. The side door that was supposed to be locked was NOT and anyone could enter after dark. The door handle to room 152 was on upside down (had to pull up to unlock instead of down as was the case with the other room 163)

The morning staff was super rude. Compared with the single woman who checked me in and offered all kinds of personable advice and service, the younger few individuals in the morning snickered to themselves about my appearance and joked well within earshot about being turned away from the breakfast table. The less than continental breakfast costs an additional $10, so I was surprised to be told I wasn’t allowed in unless I paid. While annoyed, I simply walked out the door - hardly justification for being made fun of.
