Still a nice place to stay

The hotel is in some renovations but it did not bother us at all. Room was fine, spacious and clean. The curtain are really high, it is OK but let sunshine in in the morning. We did not have a "do not disturb" card, so we were waked up each day in the morning. Other than that. All OK.

The hotel itself is undergoing a major renovation. It will be beautiful when it is done. The elevator is tiny and only fits two people at a time with luggage. The rooms on our floor didn’t have the number up on the wall but plaques on the floor waiting to be installed. Our room was very nice but unfinished. Our screen was out of our window and the screw were stripped so we couldn’t close it. Luckily it wasn’t too cold out. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. I think you just need to be prepared that this is an unfinished hotel right now.

The room was spacious and very clean. The comp breakfeast was a good selection. The only thing i would recommend is that they did run out briefly but after 20 min more food came out. I know it is a challenge between making too much or too little. People generally come down around 8am to 10 so it would be ideal to crank out more in that time. The only suggestion is that the new flooring you installed is terrible for sound absorbing. We could hear the people above us constantly. The floors were great looking and add to the overall high standards of cleanliness but you should have accounted for sound carrying to guests below. Luckily we were out during the day and fell asleep quickly. Overall i highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future.
