The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and decent Wi-Fi. I appreciated the signature warm cookie upon arrival; it’s a nice touch that always brightens the start of a stay. The on-site restaurant offered good breakfast options, and the fitness center was adequately equipped for a quick workout. That said, cleanliness was a bit hit-or-miss. While the common areas were spotless, my room could have used a more thorough deep clean—there were some dust buildup in corners and minor stains on the carpet that detracted from the otherwise cozy vibe. I mentioned it to housekeeping, and they addressed it promptly, but it’s something the hotel could improve on for future guests. Rooms are pretty rough. Had to have a butt print cleaned off the window. The staff was responsive, but it took them two trips, the second with me supervising, to get the window clean. Downtown Pittsburgh is awful, but this place is trying to be better. The restaurant is pretty good so you don't need to be out after dark. Buy the breakfast coupons, it saves you a pile of money.
