The stay here was shockingly terrible. First, the listing was misleading, this is not a hotel but a run down motel. After reluctantly entering the sketchy far back doorway on the property, we were met with the smell of stale cigarettes, cat pee, mildew, and dilapidated trashbag/duck tape patches over half the pipes in the walls going down the hallway. Against our better judgement we decided to stay due to how late we arrived, and how surprisingly clean the bedroom was compared to the hallway. Throughout the night we were woken by the sound of small dogs barking in the rooms, and the continuing smell of fresh cigarette smoke. My family all woke up around 7:30-8am expecting a hot shower and breakfast before we depart, Less than a 12 hour stay total, only to be met with ice cold water. This started the several hour saga going between the office, making phone calls, and ultimately going without showers due to freezing water temperatures before our 4 hour drive home. We were told “ a water heater has been out and you just have to wait for the hot water to be back in the tanks, it’s low because of everyone using It at the same time” almost like that is the point of an overnight stay… to sleep and to take a warm shower before you leave. This problem was not new and not mentioned at check in. After checking for 3 hours the water never warmed up. The manager refused to extend our stay with the promise of hot water later and bitterly offered $20 off each room. We were so disappointed

Our stay was disappointing. The smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming throughout the property, which made the environment uncomfortable from the start. We also didn’t feel entirely safe in the area, and although nothing happened, the uneasy atmosphere made it difficult to sleep. The walls are very thin, so we could hear conversations from neighboring rooms and people talking in the hallway. Unfortunately, this isn’t a place we would choose for a family stay again
