We had a wonderful girls trip to OMR last week. We did get a few perks for booking with Expedia which was nice. This smaller resort had lots to offer for everyone. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and beach, eating at one of 6 dining options each night. We did a lagoon walking tour which was beautiful. The experience team was amazing and really got to know us. They offered lots of activities and entertainment all day long. A big thank you to Viri, Kendall, Oswyn, and Margeurita who helped us book our day trip to Tulum which I highly recommend. My only feedback would be for the resort to sort out their dinner reservation policy. It was different for each restaurant and we had to wait 1.5 hours to eat at the Blue Moon because you can’t make a reservation. I liked the Japanese restaurant the best and their booking system was easy. I recommend this resort to couples and friends wanting a low key holiday. You can tailor your time here as there are so many options.

Kendell on the entertainment staff makes this place worth visiting. Their pool needs a major overhaul . About a third of the tile is missing or damaged. I cut my foot, as did many other guests. Dinner options are hit and miss. Expedia perks vip is sort of pointless. The perks weren't really an upgrade of any sort. Staff is wonderful...Miguel at the pool bar, and George are fun.

My experience at this resort was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone. From the moment we arrived, the rooms had a strong musty odor, and it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The staff, for the most part, were rude and unhelpful, making even the simplest requests feel like an inconvenience.One of the most frustrating experiences was with a staff member named Susana, who initially promised us an $80 coupon to use toward any activity as a gesture of goodwill for our first stay. However,the next day, she changed her story,saying we could only receive it if we also visited a sister hotel. When we declined the extra trip, she suddenly refused to honor the original offer, completely going back on her word.While we ultimately paid out of pocket for jet skiing multiple times,the dishonesty and manipulation were unacceptable. Every interaction with the front desk was a hassle.They were dismissive and rude, refusing to assist with basic inquiries. It felt like they were only interested in selling something.The food was another major disappointment. There was a severe lack of variety, and what was available was bland & unappealing. There were flies all over the buffer.The drink situation was just as bad,every single soda we ordered was flat &completely tasteless making even the simplest refreshment unenjoyable. With poor hospitality unclean conditions and an overall lack of care for guests,this was by far one of the worst resorts I’ve stayed at.

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and the staff was friendly. Room was very nice and comfortable. Beach and pool areas were beautiful. The only negatives were a lack of hot water in our shower and it was next to impossible to get a dinner reservation at one of the restaurants outside the buffet. The one dinner we had at the Italian restaurant was not good. The Mexican restaurant was just ok. Did not get to try the sushi or french restaurant. However the buffet was decent each meal and allowed our group to sit together at a time we wanted. Facility is 4-5 stars but food was marginal at best. No good authentic Mexican food. Overall experience good since we are pretty easy going.

We enjoyed the beach, pool, and the wonderful activities provided by the entertainment team. There were plentiful chairs by the beach and the water was beautifully refreshing and clean at the time we went (February). We participated in some fun daily pool and night activities (Love and marriage show, crazy game, lagoon tour, ice bath) The hibachi was subpar. The “show” was unimpressive and the food was bland. The sushi bar part was closed the entirety of our stay for unknown reasons. Don’t get me started on the buffet- we were unsure of what we were eating most of the time. The French and Italian restaurants were mediocre. El Charro was our favorite. However, dinner service was quite slow. The nightly shows were definitely lacking- we didn’t experience much beyond live music. Unfortunately, I got terrible food poisoning the last three days of our stay, the majority of which I spent in the bathroom. I am unsure of the source, but I am suspicious of a salad I ate at El Charro as well as a sushi roll that was served as an appetizer at the hibachi, which may explain why it was closed the rest of the week. Please beware- especially with uncooked foods. We unfortunately had to forgo a $300 non-refundable excursion due to my ailments. Pros: * Peaceful * Beach * Activities * Balconies * Staff * Lunch tacos * Jet ski and snorkeling Cons: * Older crowd (we are in our 20s, most people were 40s-60s) * Food * Cleanliness of pool * Loud at night staying by lobby * Sushi bar closed

The Resort was very clean and well maintained. The Bartenders, Restaurant staff and Entertainment staff were very good at their jobs and provided friendly service and accommodations. The only real issue I have with the resort was that the Butler forgot to load my carry on luggage into the transport van that took us to the airport. I called the resort as soon as we arrived at the airport and realized the luggage was missing. It was very difficult to connect to a human at the resort but after 30 minutes of calling, I was connected to the correct human that could help me. They found my luggage but made me pay the taxi cab driver $80 in cash to receive my luggage at the airport when it wasn’t my error. The resort should have offered to pay for the taxi to bring my luggage to the airport. It felt like a hustle. Very disappointed that they didn’t even offer to reimburse me.
