"The resort is an a sad state. The island is very beautiful, but essencially everything else was disappointing. Villas are outdated and in a poor condition. Staff is unprofessional, they will make you promises that will be never kept. Food quality is very low. Activities are not priced competitivly as they essencially trap you on the island with no access to any other providers (they charge handsomely to dock on the island). Avoid at all cost. "

A special mention goes to Amber, the hotel's charming resident dog, who adds personality to the property while keeping the local monkeys at a distance! While the lack of air conditioning and limited WiFi coverage (restricted to the lobby and restaurant areas) might initially seem like drawbacks, we found they actually enhanced our stay.
