The room was clean. The staff friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be the exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely loud. I would stay again. Breakfast was also good.

So, I think the people who give this place 5 stars have never stayed in a nice hotel, had a way better room, or who knows... We stayed here because it was a last minute family emergency trip, and it was close to our family. I'll start by saying that it is not "Quality." First, the pros: 1) The bed was comfortable. 2) The shower was clean and had a good shower head. 3) The pillows weren't bad. 4) The staff seemed nice. Now, the cons: 1) the floor was trashy looking and looked dirty. I stayed in my shoes and slides. 2) The blanket had some white spots that looked suspect (use your imagination, adults). 3) The clerk iterated several times, "non smoking," and there's signs on every door. Yet, as you walk down the hall, multiple doors were propped open with the device that's normally used to make sure the door is not opened, cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke was wafting through the cracks, and telephone conversations from multiple people could be heard that sounded like a party from the Jerry Springer show. 4) The breakfast was sausage patties and biscuits and gravy. How you can mess up gravy... Hmmm. It was like dog food chunks in a watery gravy. I tried 1 bite... Nope. 5) The iron was moonlighting as a sieve, and I had to ask for another one. Staff took a bit to find one... Guessing not in demand at this "fine establishment." Most likely... Not ever going to return. I'll pay $50 more and drive extra and stay at Holiday Inn in Portsmouth.

Great staff member! Plenty of vending machine options, the fact there was an indoor pool is a plus. The biggest take away was one group in particular had their 5 kids taking up every breakfast station in the morning. Just rude and gross individuals, unfortunately. Great staff none the less.

Walking into our room we smelled mold and mildew. Semen stains in outer green sheet in bed( green shows everything) also had people looking in on our ground level room through a window with no screen and one broken lock. Very loud what appeared to be a staff party out back of hotel, last but not least was informed by gas station clerk bed bug infestation 4 months prior to our stay. We left about an hour after checking in. THIS IS NOT A FAMILY HOTEL. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING
