Overall our stay was great. The room was clean and always a cool escape from the hot and humid outdoors. The room was in adequate shape. They don’t leave very many towels in the room and no wash cloths so make sure to bring a loofah. I was disappointed with the pool towels situation. Twice we were denied pool towels because they ran out. There were a ton of employees just sitting around and bins full of dirty pool towels but no clean towels. Towels are only available til 6pm also. Lastly, the steakhouse reservation system is terrible. The steakhouse opens at 6pm and you have to be in line at 6pm. We waited over 45 minutes just to get a reservation only to be told we had to eat right that minute or we couldn’t eat there so we ended up having to go dressed in our pool clothes which felt awkward. Same thing happened with the other restaurants. It is hard to get in so we ended up just eating at the buffet the majority of the time. About the buffet; the food was great, but I wish they did more about the spread of germs. The sanitizer was always out, not enough stations. No gloves. And not enough done to keep flys off of the cold foods. Also, hardly any napkins given at any of the restaurants which I was annoyed you had to get through an entire meal with a thin paper napkin.
Overall, our stay was great. I just recommend bring gloves for the buffet and a loofah.
