I will never go back! Stayed there 10 years ago and had a great experience, hence why we went back given we were passing by the area. I can’t say this time positive things about our experience. First room given was old. Bed mattress was soft and coils could be felt. Carpet was stained and furniture scratched very badly. Bathroom in needs to be refreshed! While hotel was sold out, we were offered a room that appeared recently renovated in basement. We refused the room because of terrible wet dog smell. Hotel claimed it was their cleaning products and offered to use perfume to change the smell. We decided cancel our stay and leave given they had no other options to offer, even at extra cost. Hotel refused to refund us claiming our booking was non refundable. While we understand their policy, the serviçe provided and room were not 4.5 - 5 stars as advertised. Also to add to our frustrations, when we retrieved our luggages from our first room, hotel cleaning staff was in our room to prep it for apparently customers waiting for this room to be ready. This goes against what hotel said that they would not refund us because they could not rent the room. On the positive side, Rroom was booked via Expedia. Kudos to Expedia staff who were extremely supportive through this. I wish I could say the same about my service at the hotel! We moved to Hilton and this was simply Wow!

De retour au Bonne Entente après 3 ans pour un week-end de repos et tout a été parfait, le personnel très accueillant, la nourriture excellente, la propreté de la chambre. On y reviendra certainement. Un gros merci à Gina à l’accueil et à Katerine Gauthier pour un merveilleux week-end.

Enjoyable!

All employees from the valet , receptionists or restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. However, we did not benefit from the accommodations such as the Spa and pool but from what we saw and heard from other people it was amazing. The surrounding grounds are peaceful. It made our stay very pleasant. I would go back to this hotel and recommend it to all.

Highly recommend this hotel

Lovely spot with so many extras (for example, cookies and milk in the evening.). The room was spacious with a jetted bathtub. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the gym. Highly recommend this hotel!
