Room was actually great, bed was comfy.room was clean. Actual place needed some repairs and updates. We had to park several blocks down and walk because there was no parking available. Breakfast was pretty non existing and coffee was out downstairs when we came in at also at 8am that morning.

Best stay ever in Rochester an we stay here a lot! We choose this hotel because it is across the street from the hospital. We will stay here again because of the excellent service, clean rooms and quiet atmosphere in the city. We had hoped to have an early morning surgery and we could walk across the street to the hospital and leave our car in the hotel parking lot till checkout time. Of course, we were delayed at the hospital and so I called the hotel to see if we could leave the car a couple of more hours and they were so kind and allowed it till early evening. I was so grateful because I hate the hospital parking garage. This hotel and their staff made a very stress filled day a bit easier.

After I checked in, the staff doing the check-in let me know they were having heating issues. He said if I was unhappy to call him. I was unhappy and called him and he moved me to a different room and brought me a fan. He was very helpful and courteous in a difficult situation.

The staff was incredible. Super friendly and accommodating. My reason for “ok” was the boiler was not working so the temperature in our room could not be adjusted from 77 degrees. So our room was like a sauna. It was facility wide so they couldn’t move us. They did provide us with a fan but that was on the final night. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Again staff were A+

Parking is difficult to find. Our room, the bathroom area/tile floor was super cold and felt like we were walking on ice blocks. The breakfast was okay, not a lot of healthy options. Tried working out and 5 minutes in the power went which isn’t fun when you’re trotting on the treadmill.
