I had an appointment at the Mayo Clinic and this hotel could not have been easier to get to and from! Walk out the front door and walk straight across the street to the clinic.

If have appointments at mayo clinic, it is very convenient. It’s a nice property. They are doing renovations. The restaurant on site doesn’t open till 3, would have been nice to have it as a lunch option

If you are doing anything at Mayo. There is no easier place to be. Staff was friendly. Let us check in early. Nice fitness room. Good continental breakfast. And quiet. Definitely will be back.

Best access to Mayo Clinic.

The best thing about this hotel is its location next to Mayo Clinic. Super easy underground access for a reasonable price. The place has been undergoing long-term renovations and I always seem to get the floors and rooms that haven’t been upgraded (been going there 5 years now). These non-upgraded rooms are severely dated with bad noisy AC/Heat units and annoyingly loud bathroom fans you can’t control independently from the light. And they have minimal places to plug in phone/laptop chargers. I think I maybe get the old rooms since book thru Hotels.com. They now have a free breakfast and the restaurant that is in the same building is now open again (mostly burgers and sandwiches). Access to both is good if you use a wheelchair. There is Caribou coffee on the premises so you don’t have to rely on the horrible coffee in the room. Overall- easy access to Mayo Clinic is the prime feature. Definitely try to get a remodeled room.

There is furniture sitting through the hallways. I only stayed one night and the power went out for around 2 hours overnight. Besides that everything was ok. The property is a bit out dated but that didn’t bother me. I just needed a clean place to sleep to go visit the Mayo clinic

I liked the closeness to Mayo for our appointments. It was a bit expensive though for what the accomodations were. The sink was down to a dribble and it was difficult to get the shower to work. We never did get hot water from it. The bed did not sleep very well compared to hotels in this price range. The sink and bathroom is at the foot of the bed, so anyone getting up in the night is right there to wake you up, especially if they use the sink. I liked that there was a restaurant within walking in the subway system and ease of getting to our appointments. The couch in the room was nice.

Gray mayo accommodation

Perfect hotel for appointments at mayo. Hotel is dated but extremely clean and comfortable. The access to the clinic is wonderful especially when the weather is not good. You don't have to go out at all. The restraunt on site CB3 is wonderful as well as the coffee shop. Jimmy johns is another iron for something quick. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.
