A beautiful property and a great neighborhood. But the best feature was the hotel staff, especially at the front desk. Super helpful with check in, a lunch reservation at a nearby restaurant, and a late check out. All while being super friendly and professional.

The location was not ideal. We would have liked to be more centrally located, however, this hotel was luxurious! We traveled with 3 kids and would have appreciated being near somewhere that offered quick snacks. While our room had snacks for sale, the cost was very high. We did find a place down the block to get fresh pastries and coffee which was very good. We had to walk very far and Ubers were very expensive to get our family of 5 to any restaurants. We were not far from the port and we took a ferry to Capri which was beautiful.

Horribke stay, derply disappointing response from

Horrible stay. The staff was lovely. But the air conditioning barely worked. There was almost no water in the room. We were hot and miserable and nrither of us slept all night. We canceled our prepaid second reservation there for another three nights scheduled for next week, but the hotel refused to refund our prepayment, some $1600 USD. Not classy, highly unprofessional, deeply disappointing response from a place where we had been looking forward to staying.

The mattress was very uncomfortable, no water fountains in the building, limited room service menu, breakfast buffet was the same everyday and limited, nothing is included. Be aware of daily tax rate, no free shuttle service. The shuttle is more expensive than taxi. Recommend you download it taxis app on your phone. It is a very quiet location and right across the street from the U.S. embassy. They have a very small indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and tiny area for spa services in the basement floor.

Very accommodating exceeded expectations

Grand Palace was very accommodating, were traveling through Italy and we got to the hotel at 10am and they were able to put us up right away. Staff was great, we left for a few hrs and came back to a bottle of champagne in our room and treats from housekeeping. Would def stay here again
