Hotel was under construction, which was advertised around the hotel, but I wish it was noted on the website as I've seen other hotels do. Portable ac unit in the room kept it cool enough, but also allowed outside noise from freeway to be heard. Staff was excellent (next time I will write down their names!) Helpful and friendly. Downstairs was a little warm but okay. Our room was fine - clean, and bed comfy. Breakfast was great - staff kept up with food, even at the main rush of people, while still smiling (even with our grandkids spilling juice - something we couldn't clean up ourselves). We come to this hotel often, when we babysit our grandsons for our son who lives down the street. We tried at first the different hotels around, but keep coming back here because it is a little smaller, and our grandsons feel comfortable spending time with us here. They usually eat breakfast with us (their second for the day) - we asked the manager if it was okay, and she was very welcoming. They love the pool, too, especially in the winter months, as it is indoors. There are many restaurants nearby, within walking distance, as well as Costco, Sam's Club, and stores and more restaurants at the Palladio. Overall, we have come to like and appreciate Hampton for its hospitality and quality, and will definitely be back again!
