Nice hotel. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant/bar/café was great. Rooms are very outdated. Everything looked a little rough. Leaky faucets. Beds were comfortable but hotel was a little noisy since we could hear everything from the room above us.

The price per night was excellent and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Hotel restaurant had a small menu but the meals were good. The room was “updated” but you can tell it has been years and years of just layer over layer. Paint was thick and cracked, dressers and vanities beat up. Bathroom sink would not drain needed maintenance to come up and bathroom fan was ready to take off so loud and squeaky.

The location is very convenient. No parking around the hotel so you have to use the valet. Got a room that smelled smoke so they changed us to a different one. The new one had a water leak behind the toilt and all the way to the hallway. The shower had no bodysoap. Was empty. Just out a couple towels on the floor to get it going. Valet parking is super fast.

The guy at the front desk, Gabriel, couldn’t find my reservation and told me that my reservation had been cancelled. I booked with Expedia and never cancelled the reservation. I showed him that I reserved it 2 months ago, my confirmation #, and the emails sent to me just 2 days ago saying my trip is coming up. I kept going back and forth with him for 30 minutes. I finally called Expedia and told them that they said I cancelled it. Expedia said that I never cancelled it and said that they were going to reimburse me. I said I don’t want to be reimbursed, I want the room that I paid for. I finally said I want another front desk employee to help me. The other employee, female, found my reservation and after an hour of being so mad they finally gave me keys to our room. They wasted an hour of my vacation time which I had already planned things to do since I was only staying one night in San Antonio. So frustrating! So make sure the female checks you in and not the male front desk employees because he didn’t know what he was doing.
