The room we had was small but you could not beat the view or the access to the beach as well as dining and shopping. If you are not as concerned with your sleeping space as you are to access to an awesome beach town I would highly recommend the Ocean Beach Hotel

Location is just steps from the beach. Small, older rooms but clean and comfortable. Restaurants galore within walking distance. Not as quiet as I expected due to Oktoberfest outside the hotel (not their fault just wish I would have known). Friendly staff. Convenient to many Dan Diego attractions. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Cute, clean hotel just steps from the beach. It was fun watching the surfers. The hotel had a beautiful interior courtyard with tables, a fountain and string lights. The staff was helpful and let us check in early. Would definitely stay here again.
