Very clean and nicely put together. Newer remodel makes the room absolutely comfy. No noise at all. Room 3112 beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Walking to transit to and from Oracle park was so fun. Pizza open till midnight across the street! Mel’s for breakfast and easy access to the 101.

New Updates

We’ve been staying at the Cow Hollow Inn when we go to SF for the past 4 years. We were so delighted with all the updates our room & the hotel had on this last stay there. Everything was fresh, new & so clean. It was also so beautifully decorated! They now have mini fridges as well ! The only down side is the elevators as they are very old. Oh, they have a very secure underground parking garage which we love. The location is wonderful as it is walking distance to so many restaurants, shops etc. We’ll definitely continue to stay at the Cow Hollow Inn.

Property has recently been renovated, room was very nice, clean. Bed was comfortable. You do hear noise from road but it is expected from location. Location was good. And Mel’s diner over the road is good for breakfast

Great hotel, great neighborhood.

I was very surprised at how nice the hotel was. We stayed in a two queen bed room on the third floor. We were only there for one night, but what really made this a great stay was the location and the parking. San Francisco can be expensive and tough to find parking and the cow hollow and has a parking garage under the hotel at no cost. The neighborhood was very nice and clean, and there were lots and lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. within walking distance. It was also a short walkto the marina. My husband and son had a 10 minute drive to the Presidio golf course and I walked along the paved trail from the marina to the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was lovely. The hotel itself is a little older, but the room was remodeled, the beds very comfortable, and quite spacious.

Problem w/ booking

I had booked a room w/ 2 double beds but was given a room w/ a single King bed. I had 3 in my party. I was not able to swap the room out because there was no vacancy. The hotel said it was an issue w/ Hotels.com overbooking the type of room. The resolution was to give us a roll-in 2nd single bed.
