The room was quaint and clean. The mattress was so comfortable! I seriously want to buy that mattress. The water pressure was excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Early check - in was no problem.

Conveniently located hotel

This hotel was just a few minutes walk to Union Square & shopping district. Like all US hotels, you are forced to pay an ammeneties bill on top when you arrive by a credit card. In this case a deposit of $200 but this gets reimbursed in a few days. Not used to this at all! Breakfast is included with this bill but only consists of water, tea/coffee on tap, pastries, bruised bananas sometimes (which I like) other fruit and that's it! Didn't like the super inflatable big pillows.

Nice Edwardian era hotel close to a lot of things in the Union Square area. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and valet parking.

We've stayed here quite a few times now, and have always enjoyed our stay. The ceiling fan is a major plus for us, as is the incredibly comfy beds, and clean rooms. Another plus is the staff - friendly, helpful, and efficient. When we had last stayed, last year, there was an issue with the elevator that caused it to be out of order almost the whole time we were there. Happy to report no issues this time around! Wonderful stay! Our go-to hotel whenever we are in SF
