This hotel is right where you need to be. It is in the middle of the city and easy, straight shot to the fisherman’s wharf. Plenty of diners and cafes near by to choose from as well. We had a great experience.

The Hotel is in a great location. The restaurant is very very expensive and a limited breakfast menu. The bathroom for a king room was very very small. Staff were all very accommodating.

Great Quick Stay in SFO!

We loved our quick overnight stay in the Beacon. Love the way they remodeled the rooms and shared spaces. We enjoyed both our drink in the main area lounge and the rooftop Starlight lounge. That was definitely the highlight of our visit.

Special thanks to Alex and Angelo, who helped us with our luggage and ensured we were settled comfortably in our room. Place I Keep Coming Back To! This isn’t my first stay at this hotel, and it certainly won’t be my last. The interior design is unique and full of character, the location is perfect, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. One of the biggest highlights for me is how flexible and guest-oriented the hotel is. I arrived early — at 7 a.m. — on two separate occasions, and both times I was checked into my room immediately, without any extra fees. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. The rooms are spotless, stylish, and the beds are incredibly comfortable — a real treat after a long flight. The on-site restaurant is excellent, with delicious breakfasts, great coffee, and a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. Everything about this hotel makes it easy to come back time and time again. Highly recommended!

Staff were helpful, kind and polite. Loved my beautiful room and view. The whiskey old fashioned at the bar was amazing, definitely hit them up in The Post Room. The people hanging around in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel aren’t the most safe but it was ok walking around. Convenient stores and delivery too.

Nice hotel, close to union square. Easy to get around on public transport, but there are quite a few homeless people all around. Only disappointment in the room was the shower, very little water pressure and the water is very hard so tough washing longer hair.

Amazing heritage property right in the heart of San Francisco. Fabulous location. What really sets apart a good hotel from a bad one? It's how they respond when things go wrong. In my instance, my flight was bumped a day and Tony on reception could not have been more helpful in making a very stressful situation better. It's not cheap to stay here but quality counts! Top tip: couple of nearby diners do amazing meals (Lori's and Sears) with great vibes
